Good questions.

How do I play?

Choose Play. Hold anywhere in the play area to slow your swing, then release to leap. The dots show your flight arc. Your acrobat catches the next bar automatically when you reach its ring. Make ten transfers before using all three net saves.

What does the mint guide mean?

The guide turns mint when your current release is lined up with the moving next bar. It’s a timing cue: the line continues to change while you swing, so release while it is lined up.

How does scoring work?

Each catch earns 120 points, plus 25 points for each catch in the current uninterrupted streak. Your first catch is worth 145 before bonuses; your second is worth 170. A centered approach adds 60 precision points. A fall resets your streak.

Why did I lose a net save without jumping?

Your grip lasts eight seconds at the beginning and tightens as you progress. Holding to aim slows the swing, but the grip timer keeps running. Release before your grip runs out.

Can I pause or leave the app?

Yes. Tap Pause during a performance. Switching apps or receiving an interruption pauses your run automatically. Choose Resume when you return. If iOS closes the app completely, your best score remains, but the unfinished run starts over.

Why can’t I hear the game?

Swing Theory respects your iPhone’s Silent Mode. Check Silent Mode and media volume, then make sure Sound is enabled in Settings. The game mixes with other audio.

Where is my best score saved?

On your iPhone. It remains after closing the app but does not sync between devices. Deleting the app removes local scores and settings. We cannot recover scores we never received.

Can I reduce the visual effects?

Enable Reduce effects in Settings. Swing Theory also honors the system’s Reduce Motion preference. Decorative bursts and trails become quieter while gameplay timing remains the same.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No. The game plays offline without an account. There are no ads or in-app purchases. An internet connection is only needed if you choose to contact support or visit this website.
